Two CPI (M) activists arrested in Kannur
Thalassery, Friday 19 June 2009: Two CPI (M) activists were arrested by the investigating officers on burning the bundles of ‘Mathrubhumi’, one of the leading newspaper in the state.
Thalassery Circle Inspector V Preman and his team arrested Dharmadam Kolappayi Veetil Runais (24) and Sujahith (23) a resident of Thalassery Kayath Road CP House on this regard.
It was on last Tuesday early morning the vehicle that brought the paper bundles were blocked by the miscreants and set ablaze around 10,073 dailies and 440 weeklies.
