Pre-admission event in Kochi today
KOCHI: “Looking Ahead: A Counselling Session,” the pre-admission guidance programme being organised by The Hindu-EducationPlus for the benefit of those seeking entry to courses in various professional streams, will commence at A. J. Hall, Kaloor at 9.30 a.m. on Friday.
Spot registration
Spot registration is possible at the venue from 8.30 a.m. and can be made use of by those who have not so far registered themselves for the event.
Those who have sought provisional registration by e-mail should also arrive at the venue around 8.30 a.m. and complete the registration formalities.
Parents accompanying their wards can attend the programme, but priority will be given to students as far as the seating arrangements are concerned.
All those attending the event are requested to occupy their seats by 9.20 a.m.
Panel of experts
A panel of eminent experts in different fields will make a series of presentations at the programme.
Joint Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, K. Reghunadhan Pillai, will make a presentation on the admission process for professional courses in Kerala.
Noted education expert B. S. Warrier will present an overview of various courses and also dwell on the key points to be borne in mind while making choices related to courses and institutions. Nikhil Indrasenan, national head - channel and academy, Ma Foi, will handle a session on the employment scene. Ma Foi is a leading human resource consulting company in the country.
Handbook
A handbook providing a detailed overview of the various courses in the different professional streams will be provided free to each participant.
The State Bank of Tranvancore is the presenting sponsor of the event and overseas education consultants EDEX International, Kochi, the associate sponsor. Club FM is the radio partner.
