Army man drugged, suitcase looted in train
KANNUR, Kerala: A 'Havaldar' of the EME Surajghat camp in Rajasthan was drugged and his suitcase looted in train while he was on his way to hometown from Delhi.
He was found in an unconscious state by his family members when the Nizamudheen-Ernakulam Mangala Express arrived at the Kannur railway station this morning.
V Padmanabhan (45) of Eruvessy near Sreekandapuram was shifted to the ICU of the A K G hospital here, police said.
His wife Beena said he lost his suitcase, cash worth Rs 22,000, an ATM card and ID card.
